Madison had fun finding her Easter basket this year and opening each of the plastic eggs to see what treat was inside. Unfortunately, Bernie got a hold of a few of her chocolate eggs that day too, and we had a dog with a little bit of a sick stomach.

Madison had so much fun decorating eggs at home, but had little patience for using a spoon to put the eggs in the coloring. Her hands worked much better.
At the end of egg coloring, there were only 2 eggs out of seven, that hadn't been broken with her tight little grip.

Madison & I went with my friend Christel & three of her boys and another friend Cheryl to the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point at the end of April. There are around 250,000 tulips throughout the gardens. It was gorgeous!!!

After we finished walking through the gardens and the kids had a chance to play in the Children's Garden we ate our lunch down by the waterfalls. The grounds at Thanksgiving Point are absolutely amazing & beautiful.
We have a duck that laid eggs in our back yard. It has been fun to keep an eye on her and we hope she'll stick around for a little while with the babies after they hatch.
