Brian arrived home safely on October 5th. It has been wonderful having him home and he had an entire month off work allowing us to spend quality time together. It took Madison a few days to warm up to him and for the first week or so he was home anytime he would hold her she would become very relaxed and usually fall asleep. I got a picture of the two of them taking a nap on the couch, and woke Brian up in the process.

She loves when Daddy pushes her around in her car because he makes it more exciting than Mommy does.
Madison is speaking quite a few words now, but one of the words we've heard most often is "pumkiiiin". She was obsessed with pumpkins all through Halloween season and still gets excited whenever she sees one. There was a large decorative pumpkin in WalMart that she loved to look at whenever we were there so the first word she says when we walk in the doors at WalMart is "pumkiiiiin". The word that we hear most often is vacuum. She is actually very scared of the vacuum when it is turned on, but when it's put away in the closet she'll open the door and look at it and say "hi vacuum, bye bye vacuum" and she talks about it on and off throughout the day.
Brian loves to get out the pillows because she'll always plop herself right down onto the pillow and relax for a minute.
One thing she likes to do is bounce up an down on his back whenever he lays on the floor.
and she loves horse rides.
Teary eyed from one of her little temper tantrums.
Just strolling around in Daddy's shoes.
and now she giving Mommy's high heels a try. She actually gets around pretty well in them.
What a little ham
Mmmmm.....licking whip cream off the beater. One of life's little pleasures.

We like to torture our dog and put clothes, hats, glasses, etc.. on him for our own entertainment.
Madison, on the other hand, liked having the glasses on and wouldn't take them off.
She loves baby Cooper who lives next door to us. We watched him one evening and Madison wanted to hold him, but she wasn't too sure about him once he started crying.
Feeding the ducks at the pond across the street. She loves the ducks but she is terrified of the goose that hangs out with them because it is so loud and she saw it nip my leg one day which freaked her out.
Our little devil and pumpkin on Halloween night. Madison went trick or treating at several of our neighbors homes and several houses in my parent's neighborhood. She wouldn't say trick or treat but she definitely liked getting candy from people.

We went to a neighborhood activity at a local corn field where they have lots of fun activities for kids. We went on a hay ride and Madison was able to choose her own pumpkin from a patch which she thought was pretty neat. We also watched a pig race and she played on the slides and they had a corn kennel box which was like a sand box only it had corn kernels instead of sand.
