Riding her favorite Lagoon ride "Bulgy the Whale" with cousin Emily
She thought she was pretty big riding in the boat all alone and steering the wheel. It made me sad to see just how big she is getting.
We had a fun 4th of July this year . We attended a parade in the morning, and she wasn't quite sure what to think of all the sirens and people throwing candy and squirting water at us. Then we had lunch at Grandma and Grandpas and played outside in the water afterwards. While the rest of the family went to a movie, Madison & I stayed home with Grandpa, Bernie & her cousin Carson's dog, Cuna, and we all took a little nap. That night we watched the fireworks and Madison wasn't scared of them at all. She was actually more concerned with making sure she maintained control of the bag of licorice. Brian and I bought the perfect 4th of July shirt for Madison. Just in case you can't read it in the picture it says "Miss Independent". The only dissapointing part about our 4th was that Brian wasn't here to celebrate with us.
Future pianist???? Her cousin Carter, who is holding her, is a very good piano player himself!
Madison and I went on a short vacation with the rest of my family to a resort town called Bear Lake. This was shortly after we arrived at the condo and Madison was having fun playing on the couch and had obviously been eating something messy but good.

She had so much fun playing in the sand on the Beach at Bear Lake. She thought it was great that she could get dirty and throw sand and water wherever she wanted.

She loves to do her cheesy grin! She gets in silly moods and will run all over the house laughing while chasing Bernie, but he doesn't think it's as funny as she does.
