Riding the Dragon Express at Lagoon with Daddy. This ride spins forward really quickly and then stops and goes backwards. Madison has a big grin on her face during the entire ride.

She always wants to ride the dog on the Merry go Round. If she doesn't get the dog she says "all the kids are mean", because someone else other than her gets to ride it. The self centered world of a 2 year old.

We visited the aquarium with Emily and Tommy and her favorite thing to do at the aquarium, in spite of looking at fish, sharks, & an alligator, was to play on the computer.

A relaxing day of reading....

Madison was really brave this year at the amusement park and started riding the Lady Bug Drop which takes you up into the air about 30 ft and then drops you. Here she is with her cousin Morgan as they drop.

Jay attended the Brickyard 400 in Indiana in July. He and his friend Josh visited our friends John & Kay who live in Illinois.

Madison loves our friend Josh. This was a milestone for her because she is scared of most men but, she was comfortable enough to fall asleep next to him while we were all watching a movie.

Madison can be a moody little thing in the mornings. Grumpy one minute and happy the next.

A duck built a nest in our backyard and her eggs hatched on May 24th. There were at least 12 eggs that we could see. They hatched on Sunday evening and when I went out to look at them Monday morning they were already gone. She must have taken them across the street to the pond very early that morning.
